A program that has been in place for the past four years and has been funded with tax dollars is winding down.
The program, which had a cost of $10 million, is ending, said Chris Whelan, a spokesman for the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The money will go to a state fund, Whelans said.
The state agency is a local agency, but it’s not an agency like HUD or the U.S. Postal Service.
It’s an agency of the state.
The agency runs a program that offers rental assistance, and the rental assistance program is the only program that was supported through tax dollars.
The last program was a state program called the Urban Renewal and Development Authority, and that program was discontinued in 2019.
The Angel Tree program is different.
It was started in the 1980s and ran from 1989 to 2007, Whenans said, adding that it provided help to low-income seniors who had lost their jobs.
A new program called Angel Tree was started by the city of Nashville, and it’s been a major part of helping the city rebuild.
Whelins said the new program, as well as the Angel tree program, will be discontinued in 2018.
The city has been trying to find new ways to help people, but the Angel trees were something they couldn’t find an avenue to do.
The new program is part of a larger effort that includes a new housing tax credit, a state housing tax break and a state grants program, Whels said.
